Use A3, A4 and A5 for the core print formats; 5×7, 6×6 and 3×5 for photos and smaller work; and C5 or C6 for cards, invitations and envelopes. Always choose by the complete finished item, not the size name alone.

Do the listed dimensions include the self-seal flap?
No. The dimensions shown in the guide are the usable internal bag dimensions. The self-seal flap is additional.
Should I measure the paper size or the finished item?
Measure the complete finished item, including any mount, backing board, envelope or protective insert that will go inside the bag.
How much clearance should I allow?
Allow enough room for the finished item to slide in comfortably. Mounted or backed work generally needs more clearance than a single sheet of paper.
Will an item fit if it has exactly the same measurements as the bag?
Not necessarily. Exact or near-exact measurements can be too tight once item thickness and normal manufacturing tolerance are considered.
Why should I check the 3×5 fit carefully?
The 3×5 name is nominal and the usable internal dimensions are 76 × 127 mm, so measure the actual finished item in millimetres before ordering.
