PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
C5 cello bags for cards, invitations & stationery
C5 cello bags are designed for larger greeting cards, invitations, stationery and other flat presentation pieces. Each bag provides 170 × 235 mm of usable internal space around a standard 162 × 229 mm C5 envelope, with a separate 20 mm self-seal flap. Crystal-clear 40 micron OPP keeps cards and printed work visible while the peel-and-seal closure creates a neat outer finish. Measure the complete card-and-envelope set, including inserts, before ordering.

- C5 envelope: 162 × 229 mm fits within the usable area.
- A5 prints: standard 148 × 210 mm sheets fit, but measure mounts and backing boards.
- Flap: the +20 mm self-seal flap is additional.

C5 cello bag FAQs
Answers about C5 fit, usable dimensions, 40 micron OPP, self-seal closure, pack sizes, bulk ordering and UK delivery.
Visit the Help CentreWill a C5 envelope fit these bags?
Yes. A standard C5 envelope measures 162 × 229 mm. These bags provide 170 × 235 mm usable internal space, plus the separate self-seal flap.
Can I package a card and C5 envelope together?
Yes if the complete card, envelope and inserts stay within the 170 × 235 mm usable internal dimensions. Measure thicker sets together before ordering.
Can C5 cello bags be used for A5 prints?
Standard A5 paper measures 148 × 210 mm, so an unmounted sheet sits within the C5 bag's usable area. If the print has a mount or backing board, measure the finished piece rather than the paper alone.
Are these C5 cello bags the same as C5 cellophane bags?
“Cello bag” and “cellophane bag” are common names for clear presentation bags. These bags are made from 40 micron oriented polypropylene (OPP), rather than cellulose cellophane. Read the material comparison.
What does 40 micron OPP mean?
40 micron refers to the film thickness: 0.04 mm. OPP means oriented polypropylene, the clear film specification used across the CelloBag range. Learn more about 40 micron OPP.
How does the self-seal / peel & seal closure work?
The flap has an adhesive strip protected by a removable backing. Peel away the backing, fold the flap over and press to seal. No separate tape is needed.
